Becoming One

The Becoming One Community Enrichment and Diversity Center, being guided by our faith and our love, has adopted the following mission:

To RECONCILE our nation’s past, so we can heal.

To RECOGNIZE our nation’s current diversity, so we can be truthful.

To RESPECT all peoples in America moving forward, so we can reach our full potential.

The Becoming One Community Enrichment and Diversity Center is a 501(c)(3) Charitable organization that provides support to the Siler City and Chatham County communities. A partial list of our programming consists of: after-school tutoring to school children; a safe refuge for latch-key kids after school until their custodians return from work; Annual participant in the Angel Tree Prison Fellowship that supports the children of incarcerated parents; short-term relief for parents of special needs children to allow them some free-time; life skills training to Siler city adults in the areas of financial management, nutrition, conflict resolution, and spiritual counseling. We also celebrate leaders in our community who embody the mission of Becoming One with our Annual Becoming One Awards banquet.
