Mission:Â To serve, empower, and advocate for the well-being of our diverse LGBTQ+ communities.
The LGBT Center of Raleigh is home to over 20 programs covering a variety of styles and activities that strengthen individual and community development through social & educational activities; to facilitate the incubation of supportive services & groups; and to identify needs and advocate for resources benefiting the diverse population of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender people, their friends & supporters within and beyond central North Carolina. Programs for Adults, Youth & Families.

Volunteer Opportunities
The LGBT Center of Raleigh offers many opportunities for involvement. Volunteers undertake a variety of tasks and have a key role in staffing the Center. Typical responsibilities include welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries about programs or the Center, assisting with our library, and participating in projects. Special events often need the support from volunteers to set up, run and breakdown.
